Harry Winston is a Swiss luxury watch manufacturer, currently part of the Swatch Group's Prestige and Luxury division.
Since 1989 expensive and fancy watches are produced under this traditional brand specialized on jewelery and diamond collections.
In 2001, Harry Winston launched the Harry Winston Opus program, which highlighted talented designers with annual haute horology watches. This program was operated by Max Büsser until his departure to form MB&F and featured the work of notable watchmakers like François-Paul Journe, Antoine Preziuso, Vianney Halter, Christophe Claret, Felix Baumgartner (Urwerk), Greubel Forsey, Andreas Strehler, Frédéric Garinaud (CSH), and Jean-Marc Wiederecht and Eric Giroud.
In 1896 Harry Winston was born in New York as son of Jacob Winston. In 1920, he already deals in diamonds with his own company Premier Diamond Company. Until his death in 1978 he is one of the greatest in his craft. Since then, the company is run by his son Ronald Winston.
