The BE-54AE is an automatic chronograph movement from Bremont based on the ETA 7754.
Introduced in the limited edition ALT1-Z Zulu chronograph in 2010, the BE-54AE has since seen use in other ALT-1 models including the ALT1-B and ALT1-WT World Timer, with a world time zone complication added. It is also used in the limited edition P-51 watch.
All BE-54AE movements are modified and decorated, including a moulded and skeletonised decorated rotor. The ALT1-B model features a DLC-coated rotor, while the P-51 model has a rotor constructed in aluminum from the skin of P-51 fighter 44-12016.
The BE-54AE includes hour, minute, and 24 hour UTC hands, a second counter or hand, date at 3:00 or 4:00, and chronograph with seconds, 30 minutes, and 12 hours. The ALT1-WT adds a world timer module as well.
Like all Bremont calibres, the company rates this movement for two hours less than the ETA, at 42 hours rather than 44.
