Calibre 896 is an ultra-thin automatic watch movement from Jaeger-LeCoultre.
Based on Calibre 899, Calibre 896 is also closely related to Calibre 898C. It has small seconds but no date, with a variable-inertia peripheral winding system allowing it to measure just 3.98 mm thick.
Calibre 896 is made up of 242 components. It runs at 28,800 A/h, has 34 jewels, and a power reserve of 43 hours. This movement was used in the Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Grande Ultra Thin, launched in 2009.
