Jaeger-LeCoultre AMVOX3 Tourbillon GMT is a ceramic tourbillon wristwatch by Jaeger-LeCoultre.
In Spring 2008, Jaeger-LeCoultre presented this modern sporty luxury model with tourbillon and dual time zone in the AMVOX series, dedicated to the partnership with the sports car manufacturer Aston Martin.
The tourbillon features prominently at 6:00, with rose gold bridges standing out against the black ceramic case and dial. The date is indicated with a central hand which performs a jump between 31 and 1 so the view of the tourbillon is not obscured. The skeletonized dial allows a view of the ruthenium coated bridges and plate and the blackened central bridge with the AM / PM indicator. As usual with this manufacturer, the watch has a high quality manufacture movement.
The watch case is made of an innovative technical ceramic, the first round ceramic case produced by Jaeger-LeCoultre. It is a high-tech blend of zirconium and yttrium which is handled with a special tool with diamond crystals and sintered to more than 2000° C before grinding.
Just a single AMVOX3 model was produced, limited to 300 pieces, with reference number 193C450.
