An own Watch Manufacturing

Carsten Hellmann as Managing Director and the experienced watch technician J. Fritsch have fulfilled thier dream of an own watch production in the traditional watchmaking town Glashütte with their brand Hemess.

The design of the watches is inspired by the style of the 1960s. There are the two ranges Classic and Royal. The cases are produced at the Sächsische Uhrentechnologie GmbH (SUG). As a base caliber the self-winding movement Miyota 8215 is used, which is dismantled, revised and additionally finished, inter alia, by means of galvanic processing.

New Owner and new Brand Name

In autumn 2014 Hemess is taken over by a new owner and is now called C. H. Wolf. The new name is derived from Carl Heinrich Wolf, who founded a tower clock factory in 1868.
