- 1937 — The first Collective Agreement ends strife between watch workers and manufacturers in Neuchâtel. This "temporary" agreement would last over 75 years.

- 1963 — American astronaut L. Gordon Cooper wears a Bulova Accutron "Astronaut" watch aboard Project Mercury capsule "Faith 7" while orbiting the earth
