The DUW 2002 is a manual wound tonneau-shaped movement from Nomos. Introduced in 2013, it features a swan neck regulator, double barrel winding, and high-end finishing.

Overview

Introduced in October 2013, the Nomos DUW 2002 movement is a high-end offering from the company. It features hand engraving and decoration and is used in more expensive Lux watches. It is closely related to the DUW 1001 movement introduced at the same time.

DUW 2002 is a manually wound double barrel movement with power reserve of approximately 84 hours. It has small seconds at 6:00. Running at 21,600 A/h, it has 23 jewels and a Nivarox 1A balance spring. Nomos boasts chronometer-like accuracy, though it is not certified, with a swan-neck precision regulator.
