DSTB White Gold is a wristwatch by Arnold & Son.
The DSTB belongs to the Instrument Collection of Arnold & Son, which was inspired by timepieces of the second creative period of the legendary watchmaker John Arnold.
This is a limited edition of the DSTB (Dial Side True Beat seconds) in white gold case with a blue dial.
The watch has - like all new models of Arnold & Son - a mechanical movement from own production. The jumping second (true beat second) is a traditional complication and a characteristic of watches Arnold & Son. It is completely visible on the dial side. Not just the hands, but also the lever, wheels and three palladium treated true beat seconds bridges are located in all their beauty on the dial side. The lever of the jumping second is artfully shaped like a stylized ship's anchor, which is intended as a tribute to Arnold's maritime achievements.
The jumping second is prominently displayed via a large sapphire sub-dial that fills the upper left side of the dial at 11 o'clock. At the 4 o’clock position, a domed and white lacquered subdial indicates the hours and the minutes via blued hands.
The automatic calibre A&S 6003 consists of 229 components. The palladium treated movement features Haute Horlogerie finishing with hand-chamfered and satin-finished lever and bridges, polished edges and fine circular graining and Côtes de Genève rayonnantes. The visible dial plate is blue PVD treated with large circular finishing, and screws with bevelled and mirror-polished heads. The watch has a 18ct white gold case with a diameter of 43.5 millimeters. The sapphire crystals with anti-reflective coating on the dial side and on the caseback allow a view of the superbly finished movement and with its solid 22-carat red gold guilloché oscillating weight.
The white gold version of DSTB of Arnold & Son is limited to 125 copies.
