- 2002 — The town of Glashütte is flooded, seriously damaging the historic home of Ferdinand Adolf Lange and the Nomos factory, as well as the operations of A. Lange & Söhne, Glashütte Original, and Mühle. The collections of the Glashütte Watch Museum were spared since they had been temporarily moved for renovation.
