Baumgartner

Baumgartner Frères SA (abbreviated BFG for "Baumgartner Frères Grenchen") was the leading producer of Roskopf watch movements in the 20th century. It was founded in 1899 and was located in Grenchen.

By the 1960s the Baumgartner factory in Grenchen was producing millions of ebauches per year, having grown sevenfold since World War II. The firm's products ranged from 6.75 lignes to 13.5 lines as well as a 19 ligne stopwatch movement.

• Cal. 927 - 6.75 - 8 - Without second, full plate, pin-lever escapement, 1-17 jewels.
• Cal. 930 - 6.75 - Without second, full plate, pin-lever escapement, 17 jewels "world's smallest watch movement with full bridges"
• Cal. 410/411 (successor of caliber 611/795) - Stop-watch, 1-11 jewels, also available with lever or pin-lever escapement
• Cal. 866 - 12 or 13.5 - Sweep second, pin-lever escapement, with or without calendar, 1-17 jewels.
• Cal. 58-158 - 13.5 or 12.5 - direct sweep second, pin-lever escapement with or without inlaid calendar ring, 1-21 jewels, total height of movement with calendar 4.30 mm.
• Cal. 410 - 44.70 mm - anchor escapement
• Cal. 925 - 6.75 x 8 ligne - Roskopf without seconds
