Technotime is a Swiss movement manufacturer.
History
Established in 2001, this Swiss movement manufacturer is located in La Chaux-de-Fonds. First, only quartz movements were produced, but due to the increased demand has also started the manufacturing of mechanical movements. This was accelerated in 2004 with the acquisition of France Ebauches, a long-running mechanical movement maker.
To mentioned here are the Calibre 718 TT with manual winding, TT 738 (automatic) and TT 791 (Tourbillon, manual winding). The development of other mechanics movements is planned.
Since the announcement of the ETA to cut back supplies to third parties, the importance of alternative movement suppliers such as Technotime, Sellita or La Joux-Perret is increasing with great speed.
