Calibre 10 WA is a modular alarm movement from Wittnauer produced in the 1950's.
Unlike integrated alarm movements from Vulcain and Jaeger-LeCoultre, Wittnauer added an alarm module to an existing movement, the Longines-based Cal. 10.
The Wittnauer alarm calibre is notable for its unique features:
- The alarm module includes its own barrel in the module rather than the main calibre
- The alarm is wound and set using a rotating bezel rather than an added crown or pusher
