Wristwatch by Martin Braun.
Astronomical watch with automatic winding, containing a photo-realistic moon phase indication. The concern of Martin Brown was to create a display that replicates the moon, as he shows to the naked eye, as precise as possible. The difference to conventional moon phase indications, therefore, is that at the Selene a picture of the moon has been printed on the glass with a resolution of 600 dpi (dots per inch) and thus a realistic representation of the moon is achieved. Another feature is that the moon phase indication can be adjusted to the minute and after 122.5 years differs only by one day.
Also the dial is exceptional with this watch, because it optionally consists of meteorite material from Namibia.
