The 1815 Chronograph is a wristwatch by A. Lange & Söhne.
After the 1999 published Datograph Lange developed with the Lange calibre L951.0 a new chronograph movement with classical, elaborate column-wheel mechanism, with flyback function and exactly jumping minute counter.
The series "1815" is named after the year of birth of Ferdinand Adolph Lange. The 2010 presented model "1815 Chronograph" is equipped with the further development of this movement: the calibre L951.5 with column wheel control and a stepped snail for the precisely jumping minute counter. It is undoubtedly one of the finest movements of the traditional Glashütte manufacture, which thus underlines again its impressive primacy. A large barrel guarantees the remarkable power reserve of 60 hours.
The "1815 Chronograph" has a dial of solid silver and a case in white gold or red gold. The sapphire crystal sighting window in the caseback makes it possible to observe the magnificently finished movement at work.
