- 2010 — Swatch Group founder Nicolas G. Hayek dies. A business consultant, he is responsible for the growth of the Swatch Group, the dominance of ETA movements, and many of the industry developments in recent decades.
- 2007 — The FH votes to increase the requirement for "Swiss Made" from 50% of total value to 80%.
