- On 7 December 1990, to the day exactly 145 years after the founding of the company A. Lange & Söhne, Walter Lange, great-grandson of Ferdinand Adolph Lange, with support of IWC and its director Günter Blümlein, founds the company again under the name Lange Uhren GmbH.
