Vaucher, Dupasquieer, & Co. was a maker of "Indian" fabrics in Cortaillod before turning to ebauche making around 1854. The company mainly supplied the watchmakers in Fleurier, which specialized in watches for the Chinese market at that time. Vaucher, Dupasquier also produced ladies pendant winding watches.

The company appears in Indicateur Davoine from 1865 through 1877, after which a new company called Berthoud-Coulon or Ed. Berthoud appears. This was the same firm under new ownership. By 1890 the company had re-focused on the production of electric cable, and was re-named Société d’Exploitation des Cables Électriques.
