Robert Mühle founds the company "Robert Mühle & Sohn" in Glashütte and mainly produces measuring instruments for the watch industry and other precision devices, later also speedometers and car watches. The still family-owned watch manufacturer is now called Mühle-Glashütte GmbH, Nautische Instrumente & Feinmechanik.
