Calibre IWC 85 is the second automatic watch movement produced by IWC.

Shortly after the introduction of their first automatic movement in 1950, IWC launched an automatic movement with central seconds, Cal. 85. It was replaced just two years later with Cal. 852.

Like the previous IWC 81 movement, Cal. 85 features the patented Pellaton winding system.
