Société des Fabricants d'Horlogerie de La Chaux-de-Fonds
The Société des Fabricants d'horlogerie de La Chaux-de-Fonds was a Société des Fabricants d'horlogerie based in La Chaux-de-Fonds. Established in 1897.
The Society was established on March 5, 1897 to bring together "watch manufacturers, dealers and brokers in watchmaking or supplies and bankers registered in the commercial register of La Chaux-de-Fonds." Prospective members had to apply in writing, be approved by the management committee, and pay an entry fee, and they could lose their membership if they resigned, were no longer listed in the commercial register of the city, or "whose conduct would derogate from the spirit of the statutes." The organization was headquartered at Rue du Doubs 73.

The original management committee was composed of the following:

Julian Gallet resigned as treasurer in November of that year, with Albert Mosimann replacing him.
1898
In 1898 Albert Bourquin-Jaccard became secretary, replacing David Kenel.

The organization was stable through the turn of the century, though changes in the industry (and aging members) forced a change in 1910. A. Bourquin-Jaccard retired from watchmaking, having served as president of the Société for six years. Paul-Z. Perrenoud, E. Lesquereux-Peseux, and Charles-Léon Schmidt did not accept re-election. Arnold Bourquin-Vuille became president, Paul Ditisheim took over as vice president, Albert Mosimann became secretary, and Jules Wolf became vice secretary. Alphonse Gogler had continued as treasurer but was replaced in November of that year by Arnold Braunschweig.
