Le Brassus is a watch town in the Vallée de Joux (Swiss Jura) and seat of the traditional luxury brands Audemars Piguet and Blancpain. This part of Switzerland is also called the canton of Vaud (or Waadtland). Along with the neighboring Le Sentier, for almost 300 years these are strongholds of the Swiss watchmaker art. The manufacture Audemars Piguet maintains a private watch museum in Le Brassus.
