Cal. MT5813 is an automatic chronograph movement from Tudor, based on Breitling technology, and introduced in 2017.

History

Tudor traditionally used movements from major manufacturers, chiefly ETA in modern times, as a differentiator from parent company Rolex. Beginning in 2015, the company began producing a line of "Manufacture Tudor" movements for certain models, beginning with Cal. MT5621. These are based on Rolex technology, but Cal. MT5813 differs in being based on the architecture of the Breitling Cal. B01.

Cal. MT5813 was introduced in 2017 as an automatic chronograph movement for the Tudor Heritage Black Bay Black Chronograph. It is a column wheel chronograph movement with a vertical clutch. Features include a date wheel, small seconds, and a power reserve indicator.

Cal MT5612 is finished in a simple "industrial" motif rather than with elaborate anglage or finishing.
