The Rolex Explorer I is an expedition watch developed by Rolex on the occasion of the British Mount Everest Expedition in 1954. The watch has a self-winding movement with chronometer certificate.

Even today, this watch offers inside and outside a sound quality and convinces by its ruggedness and restrained elegance. The legibility of the dial is superior. The Explorer I is not nearly as well known as other Rolex models, however it is suitable especially for not so large wrists and for owners who appreciate the rather quiet, discreet understatement.
