Template:File The ETA 7753 is an automatic chronograph movement by Valjoux/ETA based on the popular Valjoux 7750.

Overview

Very closely related to the Valjoux 7750, the ETA 7753 is a self-winding chronograph movement with 27 jewels, ball-bearing rotor, unidirectional winding, 1/8-seconds counter, 30-minutes counter, 12-hours counter, 28.800 A/h, and power reserve of about 44 hours. The differentiators between the 7753 and 7750 are the relocation of the minutes counter to 3:00 (rather than 12:00) and the date change by corrector button at 10:00. This gives the movement a classic "3:6:9" subdial layout instead of the "6:9:12" format familiar in the 7750.

Since the takeover of Valjoux by ETA the calibre Valjoux 7753 is called calibre ETA 7753.
