The Franches-Montagnes is a region of Canton Jura in Switzerland. It lies just north of the Bernese Jura of Canton Berne between La Chaux-de-Fonds to the southwest and the regions of Porrentruy to the north and Delémont to the east.

Geographically, the Franches-Montagnes is a high plateau north of the ridge of the Montagne du Droit, which separates it from the compact Vallon de Saint-Imier. It is boggy and agricultural, but there are a few centers of watch production there:
