Sonvilier (formerly spelled Sonvillers and Sonvillier) is a small town in the Vallon de Saint-Imier in the Bernese Jura region of Canton Berne. It is located just west of the well-known watchmaking town of Saint-Imier in the Jura Triangle, about half way between La Chaux-de-Fonds and Bienne.

One of the most lasting contributions to horology from Sonvilier is the Solvil brand established by Paul Ditisheim by 1920. Although moved to Bienne, the name honors the town, which housed the original factory.
