Erwin Girard was an ebauche manufacturer in Moutier from 1915 through 1951.

Bon, Louviot, & Cie. was established in Moutier by 1889 as a manufacturer of ebauches, including anchor and cylinder movements. The company is known as Bon & Cie. starting in 1894. Bon & Cie gives way to Hofer & Gauchat by 1913. By this time the company specializes in thin and ultra-thin movements from 15 to 30 lignes.

By 1916 the company is known as E. Girard. Still producing thin movements, it now has products ranging from 13 to 24 lignes. It offers "remonteurs a vue et bascule" with guaranteed interchangeability. This range is reduced to 15 to 20 lignes in 1918. It is listed as Erwin Girard in 1923 with a broader range of movements again, including cylinder and anchor.

Erwin Girard joined the group of dissident watchmakers by 1931. The company outlasts many of the other dissidents, which were mostly absorbed into Ebauches SA in the 1930s or forced out of business.

After World War II, Erwin Girard SA reappears with a new focus on adjacent products. The range includes electric clocks, 8-day clocks, and automobile clocks. But the company still offers ebauches in 19 and 22 ligne size, including some with alarm and center seconds. Girard is last listed in 1951.

Erwin Girard-Walter died on September 17, 1944, at the age of 57 years.
