The ETA 2801 series of movements were produced by ETA. It was introduced in 1983 and remains in production as of 2019.

Overview

This line features 28,800 vph movements in an 11.5 ligne manually-wound movement.

Variants

Although nine distinct variants of this movement have been produced, only two (2801-2 and 2804-2) remain in production. All are very similar, with many parts interchangeable and few variations over the years of production.

The main variants are:

  • Day/Date - 2810, 2816, 2816-1
  • Date only - 2804, 2804-1, 2804-2
  • No date - 2801, 2801-1, 2801-2

Apart from an improved day/date component, the 2810 and 2816 are identical.
