Template:File The Valgranges A07 is a large movement produced by Valjoux (part of ETA in the Swatch Group). The Valgranges brand was launched in 2005 and was retired after 2021. The name Valgranges derives from "Granges" or Grenchen.
The A07 is a derivative of the popular Valjoux 7750. It is a self-winding movement with 24 jewels, ball-bearing rotor, 28.800 A/h. It is designed for larger watches and measures 16.5 lignes.
The A07 is available in the following variants:
- ETA A07.111 - hours, minutes, seconds and date (AKA A07.L01)
- ETA A07.161 - hours, minutes, seconds, date and power reserve
- ETA A07.171 - hours, minutes, seconds, date and 24-hours second timezone hand
- ETA A07.211 - hours, minutes, seconds, date and chronograph (Valjoux 7750-based) (AKA A07.221/A07.231)
ETA also makes Valgranges movements for in-house customers, Longines and Omega:
- ETA A07.L11 (Longines L697) - hours, minutes, seconds, retrograde day, retrograde date, power reserve, retrograde second time zone hour
- ETA A07.L21 (Longines L698) - hours, minutes, retrograde day, retrograde date, retrograde seconds, retrograde second time zone hour
- ETA A07.L31 (Longines L707) - hours, minutes, retrograde day, retrograde date, retrograde seconds, retrograde second time zone hour, moon phase, day/night indicator
- ETA A08.L01 - column wheel chronograph based on Valjoux 7753 for Longines and Omega (AKA A08.L11/A08.231)
ETA makes specialized movements for Tissot and Rado as well:
- ETA A05.H21 - 13 1/4 ligne (30 mm), 25 jewels, 60 hours power reserve, based on ETA 7750
- ETA A05.H31 - 13 1/4 ligne (30 mm), 27 jewels, 60 hours power reserve, minutes at 3:00, small seconds at 9:00, based on ETA 7753
- ETA C01.211 - 13 1/4 ligne (30 mm), 15 jewels, 45 hours power reserve, 6 hour counter, based on Lemania 5100
