The Octa Calendrier is a wristwatch by F. P. Journe.

Info

For this extraordinary model F. P. Journe in 2002 could receive the prestigious "Special Jury Award" at the Grand Prix d'Horlogerie de Genève. The watch is examined as chronometer and offers a retrograde hands date and a large digital day of the week and month display.

Again this beautiful watch creation of the Master connects his usual classical quality claim with a discreet appearance, which conceals a wealth of inner values. To name only the enormous power reserve of the self-winding movements: it is a whopping 160 (+/-12) hours. Even if the watch is not worn, the precision of its rate is maintained. To be able to bring the exclusive manufacture movement 1300 on the market three years of research and another two years of development were required.
