Senator is a wirstwatch series by Glashütte Original.
The Senator series
The series Senator constitutes a major pillar of the model program of Glashütte Original. Until about 2005 the watches were equipped with the self-winding calibre GO 39. At the new versions it was replaced by the more powerful calibre GO 100. Most Senator watches have the Glashütte-Original-specific panorama date.
A proof of both the popularity and also the quality of the models is the award of the title "Watch of the Year": 2000 the model Senator Perpetual Calendar received the coveted award.
