Calibre 1873 is a manual winding chronograph movement from Lemania.

Produced by Lemania and Nouvelle Lemania, Calibre 1873 runs at 21,600 A/h, is 27.5 mm in diameter and 6.87 mm high, has 17 or 18 jewels, and a 40 hour power reserve.

The cam switching chronograph has a central seconds hand and three subdials: 30 minute chronograph at 3:00, 12 hour counter at 6:00, and 60 second timekeeping at 9:00.

The Lemania 1873 was used by companies like Breitling, TAG Heuer, and Eberhard & Co.

It is closely related to the Lemania 1872, Lemania 1874, and Lemania 1883.

Calibre 1877

Lemania Calibre 1877 is very similar but adds 24-hour timekeeping on the main dial. It was used in the Breitling Cosmonaute as their Breitling Calibre 12.

Variants

  • Omega 861/863 - Based on Lemania 1873, Omega Cal. 861/863 are 18 jewel movements. Cal 186x is rhodium plated. Cal. 863/1863 is decorated for sapphire case back watches.
