Template:File Dive watch by Panerai

New edition of a legendary dive watch model by Panerai. The Florentine watch manufacturer developed this watch in the second half of the 1950's for the submarine command of the Egyptian Navy, which had explicitly requested an "indestructable watch". From this Egyptian ("egiziano") specialized model only a few dozen pieces were produced in the original.

The re-edition features the manufacture calibre Panerai P.2002/7, which with its three barrels achieves the high power reserve of 8 days. The comfortable seconds zero reset function, operated by the extraction of the crown, places the seconds hand back to zero. Hereby a precise adjustment of time becomes possible. The round case measuring 60 mm is manufactured of satin-finished titanium.

The watch is available in a limited edition of 500 pieces. It has a leather strap with a wide trapezoidal buckle made from satin-finished titanium with the engraved lettering GPF (Giovanni Panerai & Figli - as at the original). Included is a slightly smaller second strap, which has the same size as the historical "Egiziano", as well as a small tool to replace the straps.
