The Rolex 3255 is the current Day-Date movement from Rolex.

Introduced in 2015, Cal. 3255 is the seventh-generation Day-Date movement. It introduces the anti-magnetic Chronergy escapement to the Day-Date line and includes the Parachrom blue hairspring. Power reserve is increased to 70 hours from a single barrel.

Cal. 3255 is an automatic movement running at 28,800 A/h and a certified chronometer.

Cal. 3255 is used in the Rolex Day-Date 40, Ref. 228000.

Sister company Tudor's Cal. MT5621 is very similar and was introduced the same year.
