TAG Heuer Carrera 1887 Chronograph
Carrera 1887 Chronograph is a wristwatch by TAG Heuer.
With this chronograph, presented on the Baselworld 2010, TAG Heuer equipped the model of success Carrera for the first time with the in-house manufactured self-winding movement Calibre 1887, and in the latest generation. This allows you to start the chronograph functions in two thousandths of a second.
The chronograph functions are displayed on two separate totalisers: hours at 6 h and minutes at 12 h, both with own dials. The stainless steel casing measures 41 mm in diameter and is waterproof up to 10 atm.
In the fall of 2010 this model was awarded the coveted Geneva Watchmaking Grand Prix ("La Petite Aiguille" or "Little Hand" as the best watch in the class under 5,000 Swiss Francs).
In the meantime, several modifications have been carried out at the watch (see below and section Weblink) on design.
TAG Heuer won the “Petite Aiguille” Prize at the Grand Prix d'Horlogerie de Genève for the Carrera Calibre 1887 Chronographe in November, 2010.
