Calibre 42 is a watch movement from Universal Genève.

This calibre was one of a family of related movements. All of the family shared the same dimensions (8.75 lignes, 2.45 mm high) and oscillation speed (21,600 A/h) except for Calibre 800, which was thicker and slower. Later versions moved from a Girocap combined setting to a Universal combined setting with oil aperture (Cal. 1-42) and switched from Incabloc to Kif-Satellor (Cal. 2-42).
