Zenith Pilot Montre d'Aéronef Type 20
Pilot Montre d'Aéronef Type 20 is a model range by Zenith.
In 2012 Zenith aroused attention with the first model of the model family "Pilot Montre d'Aéronef Type 20" of pilot's watches. "Montre d'aéronef" is the French word for "aviation clock".
The series is dedicated to the French aviation pioneer Louis Bleriot, who on July 25, 1909 crossed the English Channel and whose plane was equipped with a Zenith aviation clock. From 1939 the Montre D'Aéronef Type 20 was installed in most French aircrafts.
The current design particularly of the base models adheres closely to classic design features, including large Arab hour numerals on matt black background and oversized crown. In 2013 other models appeared, including several luxury versions with complications such as annual calendar and tourbillon.
But not enough, also numerous women's models, some even decorated with diamonds, were launched.
