- 1994 — Entrepreneur Heinz W. Pfeifer and the Nuremberg jeweler Alfred Wallner buy the Glashütter Uhrenbetriebe (GUB), renaming the brand Glashütte Original. They would sell the revitalized brand to Swatch Group in 2000.
- 2007 — Vacheron Constantin wins the Montre de l'Année award for the Patrimony Contemporaine Date et Jour rétrogradants.
