Avia was a Swiss watch brand for multiple firms at different periods:
- Fabriques Avia was a brand created by the American/Swiss Rode Watch Co. by 1918 and produced in La Chaux-de-Fonds at the famous Montbrillant Watch Manufactory. The brand did not last into the Depression.
- Montres Avia was re-launched by Degoumois & Cie. of Neuchâtel and Louis Newmark Limited of the UK in 1945 and produced through 1972. It was a lower-priced mass-market brand of Roskopf and cylinder escapement watches in addition to higher-end Swiss lever movements.
- Avia-Silvana was the successor to Degoumois under holding company SGT from 1972 through 1981. Avia was used to market LCD and LED digital watches in the early 1970s but became insolvent with SGT in 1980.
- Avia was acquired by Louis Newmark Limited in 1981 and re-launched as a UK mass-market watch brand. As of 2005, Avia was one of the top brands in the UK by retail sales volume.
