The Cricket GMT X-Treme is a wristwatch with alarm function by Vulcain.
On the Baselworld 2008 Vulcain presented this sporty wristalarm with GMT function. The watch with 44 mm diameter is available in black titanium and stainless steel or in titanium and 18ct rose gold and is waterproof to 10 atm. The alarm feature is perfectly audible even underwater. It can be combined with a strap of vulcanized rubber or of waterproof leather. The version in black titanium and stainless steel is available with dial black / silver or silver / black.
To even enhance the dynamic character of this precision timepiece, the dial with central decor and oversized numerals features a domed sapphire crystal. The sporty look is underlined by the ridged bezel from stainless steel or rose gold that fits to the new design of the crowns and the pusher.
The sapphire crystal bottom with the stylized "V" for Vulcain allows a view of the anthracite version of the new Cricket Calibre V-16. The mechanical movement with manual winding has two barrels with a power reserve of 42 hours for the movement and about 20 seconds for the alarm. It is also equipped with the Exactomatic system that optimizes the rate accuracy. The Cricket Calibre V-16 has 191 parts and provides the functions hours, minutes, seconds, alarm function, date and GMT with the world times of 24 hours (adjustable via the screw-in crown at 4 o'clock).
