Jacques-André Nardin was the son of [[Paul-David Nardin]] and grandson of [[Ulysse Nardin]], founder of the Nardin chronometer factory in [[Le Locle]]. Nardin was born in [[1892]]. He worked alongside his brothers before marrying Hélène-Lucie Ducommun-dit-Verron, daughter of [[Georges Ducommon]], founder of the [[Doxa]] watch factory. He soon became director of that factory.

Jacques Nardin (1892-1950) was a 20th century watchmaker. Grandson of Ulysse Nardin, Jacques was head of Doxa.

Nardin died on August 26, 1950 at 59 years old. He suffered from bronchial pneumonia and had been undergoing treatment in Geneva.
