Calibre L901.1

Lange 1A is a luxury watch by A. Lange & Söhne.

The Lange 1A is a special edition of the Lange 1, presented 1998 on the occasion of the opening of the second Lange production building. It stands in the tradition of the historic "1A" pocket watches by A. Lange & Söhne: with lever and escape wheel in gold and hand-engraved balance, lever and escape wheel cocks in gold. For lever and escape wheel specially hardened white gold was used, which is much more resistant to wear compared to yellow gold.

The watch is powered by the manual winding manufacture movement calibre L901.1 and has hacking seconds, power reserve indicator and big date. The dial is in solid silver, the hands are made of gold, the case is in 18ct yellow gold.

The edition was limited to 100 pieces and numbered consecutively.
