In 2005 this version of the Breitling Montbrillant was presented. The large case whose bezel has a beaded decor reminds of the first Breitling Chronograph equipped with a slide rule. The two-tone dial is held in the same style: the time display clearly stands out from the logarithmic scales. The case back is decorated with a shaped medallion which shows a reproduction of the factory in the Rue Montbrillant, built by Léon Breitling in the watchmaking metropolis La Chaux-de-Fonds in 1892.
The Breitling Calibre 19 is a highly complex movement with about 250 components: an automatic Chronograph with perpetual calendar and moon phase, which is certified as chronometer. (The same movement with the same functionality is also used in the model Navitimer Olympus.)
