- 1965 — American astronauts Frank Borman and James A. Lovell, Jr. orbit the earth 206 times in 14 days aboard Gemini VII. The astronauts wear Omega Speedmaster watches on the mission.
- 2019 — Parmigiani Fleurier introduces the Hijri Perpetual Calendar watch, featuring Arabic lettering and a calendar to track Muslim holy days. It would win the Innovation Prize at the GPHG in 2020.
