1967Seiko delivers four prototype quartz watches for chronometer certification to the Neuchâtel Observatory, just three months after the CEH prototypes.
2004F.P. Journe wins the "Aiguille d'Or" Grand Prix at the Grand Prix d'Horlogerie de Genève for the Tourbillon Souverain à seconde morte.
2011Hermès wins the Montre de l'Année award for the Arceau Le Temps Suspendu.
2014 — The famous Patek Philippe "Graves Supercomplication" is sold at a Sotheby's Auction for US$24 million, the most expensive sale to date. It had previously held that record after a 1999 sale.
