* [[Jacques Ruedin]] (1910-1997) was a cousin of [[Georges Ruedin]] who became secretary of [[Georges Ruedin SA]] following his death. He came from Le Landeron but lived in Zurich.

The Ruedin family of watchmakers originated in the Swiss Jura, founding and running a variety of watch component companies there.
