The Fédération Suisse des Associations de Fabricants d'Horlogerie (also called the Fédération Horlogère Suisse or simply FH) is a historic organization that combined the Swiss cantonal chambers of commerce and regional industry trade associations. Founded on January 17, 1924, the FH grew in importance in the 1930s in response to "dissident watchmakers" and was integral in the creation of ASUAG, which consolidated various component companies. The FH was responsible for promotion of Swiss watches following World War II and was financed by a tax on watch movements. On November 19, 1982 the FH was merged with the Chambre Suisse de l'Horlogerie (which represented the watch companies themselves) to form the modern Fédération de l'Industrie Horlogère Suisse, which also uses the initialism FH.
