JLC 470
Calibre 470 was a chronometer-grade hand winding movement from Jaeger-LeCoultre.
Originally used in the military Mark 7 A, Calibre 470 was a hand-winding movement with great precision. It evolved into the Calibre 488 SBr, used in the Mark 11, which added hacking seconds. Calibre 468 was similar. The next revision was Calibre P 478 BWSBr, the movement used in the legendary Jaeger-LeCoultre Geophysic chronometer of 1958. The 478 added shock protection and a swan neck regulator but was otherwise similar to the 488.
