Calibre 406 is an alarm movement from Vulcain introduced in 1958.

Already famous for their Cricket alarm watch, Vulcain introduced the first small "ladies" alarm watch in 1958. Like the Cal. 120/401/402 found in the larger Cricket, Cal. 406 was a double barrel movement with one devoted to timekeeping and the other for the alarm.

Cal. 406 was advertised as "Golden Voice" thanks to a gold alarm membrane.
