Colombier
Colombier is a village in the district of Boudry in Canton Neuchâtel, Switzerland. It is located on a small hill above Lake Neuchâtel with Bevaix, Cortaillod, and Boudry to the southwest and Corcelles, Peseux, and Neuchâtel to the northeast.
Although not known for watchmaking, Colombier was home to a few notable names:
- Numa Fréchelin specialized in watches for America, and specifically Boston
- Constant Morthier-Sandoz also specialized in watches for America and England
- A. Jeanneret-Rickli
- Emile Droz specialized in watches for Boston
- Philippe Hüther was notable as his firm originated the Tudor brand (later called Huther SA)
